We are pleased to share that Zentra Group PLC has transitioned to the Access Segment of the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market (AQSE). This move marks an important step in our company’s evolution, aligning with our vision and providing a platform better suited to our size and objectives. This transition reflects the Company’s size and objectives, aligning more closely with AQSE’s growth-focused market. The Board believes that AQSE offers a more suitable platform to support Zentra’s ambitions and that it will help position the Company for future growth.
Over the past year, we’ve taken bold steps to refine our strategy and focus on what we do best: developing homes that meet the diverse needs of today’s housing market. We’ve streamlined our operations, moving away from co-living and in-house construction to concentrate on two key areas under our Zentra brands:
- Zentra Living: Creating modern, vibrant apartments for urban professionals.
- Zentra Homes: Building traditional houses designed for families and individuals seeking quality and community.
This focused approach allows us to deliver targeted solutions for a range of housing needs, helping us grow sustainably in a dynamic market.
Our transition to AQSE complements a year of significant achievements:
- Major Acquisition: We’ve acquired a 30% stake in One Victoria in Manchester, a flagship development of 129 apartments and two commercial units, set for completion in 2025.
- Property Sales: Recent sales, including a £7M portfolio and Seaton House in Stockport, have bolstered our balance sheet and reduced debt, ensuring we are well-positioned for future growth.
- Ongoing Developments: We’re proud to continue as Development Manager for One Heritage Tower in Salford and are progressing with the sale of our Churchgate land in Leicester, expected in early 2025.
Jason Upton, our Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“We are excited to announce the next chapter for Zentra as we transition to AQSE and align our business for the future. Our renewed focus on residential development, combined with our recent acquisitions and restructuring, positions us well for sustainable growth. We are confident in our ability to help meet the housing needs of communities across the North of England and look forward to expanding our development pipeline in the years ahead. Our strategic partnerships, including the new service agreement with OH UK Holdings, reinforce our commitment to value creation for all stakeholders. We are confident that our new direction will deliver long-term value for shareholders and contribute positively to the housing shortage in the UK.”
